Seminar
Facilitator: Dr. Emmanuel Odame
Day one of the youth empowerment seminar by
the North Kaneshie Assemblies of Church Youth wing was closely packed and
keenly anticipated for. Dr. Emmanuel Ankrah Odame is the
Director of Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of
Health, Ghana. He was the lead negotiator for the Ghanaian health sector during
the negotiations of the Sustainable Development Meetings at the UN in New
York. The facilitator on the
night who is a renowned health practitioner as said ,gave very key insights on
the topic treated giving key notes on areas such as IQ ( Intelligence Quotient)
- for one who has a higher intelligence.EQ (Emotional Quotient) - One who can
relate well with people and get into how people really feel.LQ ( Love Quotient)
- win the respect of others and these people are mostly trustworthy.
Be trustworthy yourself, before the
possibility of others trusting you is assured he added with great conviction, he further made emphasis
that the basic conditions of life In Order To Be Prosperous in Life is about;
“Where you walk, where you stand and where you
sit as well”
" Leadership is about making good things
happen" In the handling of the
baton,
Take your time and understand the process.
Don't be hasty about decisions you take and remember Patience is Key. “he also
said.

Loyalty, Teamwork, being diligent and hardworking are key in the process of
learning to know what it really means to hand on the baton and handling over
the baton is one of the cardinal duties of a Christian he concluded.
Amidst the talk great questions and answers
served to both the facilitator and attendees on the night the seminar
promises to be more informative and engaging for the next few days to come. Rev
Anthony Doeh been the host urged us all to take key notes on the nights and use
them to empower and grow ourselves in all areas including spiritual growth.
