Speaking on Utv’s United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama McBrown, veteran gospel musician, Diana Hopeson revealed on United Showbiz what she missed about her active days as a gospel musician.

According to the veteran, she loved the fact that during their time, the number of gospel musicians were not many and that brought them some good money because they had all the shows to themselves.

She also indicated it sometimes became burdensome because she was needed everywhere at the same time due to the number of gospel musicians during that era.

She was on the show with other gospel legends including Abaawa Connie, Abena Ophilia, Helena Rhabbles and Hannah Marfo.

The works and personalities of these great women were celebrated as part of International Women’s Day.

Diana Hopeson is a former President of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). Her contributions to the Ghanaian Art industry won her a National Honors Award which was presented to her by former president John Agyekum Kuffuor in 2007.
