The 2nd edition of the Chief Executive Officer’s table tennis Championship came on Saturday, 20th November, 2021 at the Tang Palace hotel in Accra.

The event, a Safety Communication Consult in partnership with Xodus Communication and L’AINE was well attended and highly endorsed by all that came through on the day.Table Tennis  🏓🏓🏓 as a game is one that improves hands and eyes coordination, relaxes muscle while burning calories and improves mental keenness. 

Mr. Eric Apedo who is the project director of the Safety Communication Consult in a debriefing on why the initiative and way forward, said, “the motive is to bring back decision makers who are lovers of the game to promote it among their level in the country and the diaspora”. He further stressed it was to Create a (corporate social responsibility) CSR support to build ultramodern Halls in our district and to make it popular among decision makers and top management in corporate Ghana.” He further encouraged Ghanaians and corporate managers to register for the follow up editions and actively get involved in order to develop their network levels. He revealed that the event is open to all persons of different categories and levels in the private and public employment sectors.




Some of the few present at the event  included Dr. Ekwow Spio- Garbrah, Mr. Kola Briamah, Mr. Christopher I. W King Esq. among others. The participants were grouped into four (4) groups : from group A to group D with at least four (4) members in a group and at most 6 members. The game commenced with a score of  twenty one (21) be to be qualified to the quarter finals.  
After a thorough run, four (4) participants emerged as winners with Dr. Spio-Garbrah taking the Fourth 4th place, Mr. taking the third 3rd place, Mr. Christopher I.W King Esq. taking the second 2nd place and the leading champion Mr. Kwaku Gyampo taking the first 1st place who was also the then winner of the maiden edition. 












Former Minister of Trade and Industry - Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah whole hearted endorsed the initiative and encouraged CEO's, business heads and those in high positions who normally like to exercise, love the game or just don’t have the time to do to take the opportunity to do so with the assurance that it would be a time to unwind network and re-live the feel of competition among peers and new friends. The event was one he loved during his school days “table tennis is a good game and thus young and old should take on the game to be healthy ,boosting cardiac levels  and perhaps be a champion in the area of sports in general. “he added.

Veteran Kwaku Gyampo, CEO of Seamerchants and Fredymax limited hinted that: “As a member of the VTTAG, defending champion of the first edition and a lifelong enthusiast,was the emerging winner of the second edition as well and well acknowledged on the day.

Commendable winners walk home with attractive prizes which includes certificates, medals, trophies and products from sponsors. Sponsors for the program included  Caveman Watches,   HD+ , Unichem Group  Ghana, All Natural Products, ITV and many others.
