This year’s Global Women’s Business and Professional Conference and Business Expo ended on an inspiring note at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, last week.

 



The conference saw different men and women with expertise share their experiences and strategies for their respective professions.

 

Mrs Grace Amey-Obeng, CEO, FC Group of Companies who spoke on “how to own your compelling story, weave it into your brand and win” said it was imperative for business minded individuals to value and practice proper communication while giving information on their products. “Connecting to the people emotionally as well as communicating the right information on how to apply your product to the people is important”, she said.

Mrs Amey-Obeng also stressed on the need to build a formidable team who would support one’s dream, hinting that her husband and other well meaning individuals provided unflinching support for her dream.

Mrs Amey Obeng who has over 25 years experience in beauty therapy advised that building a brand comes with challenges, however, with dedication and perseverance one could achieve success.
